a. Bit
Rate: The quantity of data sent from the camera through the network to the server.
Usually quantified as Mbit/s
or Kbit/s (1 Mbit 1000 Kbit). Aproximated values are viewable in the table to the right. MPEG-4 is usually used for recording since it's compressed a lot compared to MJPEG. Please only fill in the average Bit Rate of
one camera in the form field.
b.
Activity: The number of hours per day with movement
(starting motion detection recording) in the surveilled area. In a store, the opening hours is a suitable range.
c.
Recorded movement:
How many percent of the above stated hours actually have movement in the camera view. (set to 50 % if unsecure)
d.
Number of cameras: How many cameras are to be connected to the surveillance system?
e.
Storage
time: The number of
days the recorded material is stored on the server. (max 30
days allowed in Sweden).
